Volunteer Program
Our volunteering program opens the door to life-changing experiences in Jinja, Kampala, and surrounding communities. We warmly welcome teams starting from 4–16 individuals to join our upcoming trips and play an active role in transforming lives while creating unforgettable memories
Why Volunteer with Child Care Foundation Uganda?
At the heart of CCF Uganda is a mission to empower vulnerable children, single mothers, widows, and persons with disabilities through education, healthcare, and community development. Volunteering with us goes beyond lending a helping hand, it’s about restoring hope, spreading love, and building a future of dignity and opportunities.
As the proverb reminds us: “Blessed is the hand that gives, rather than the one that takes.”
Your time and presence will bring lasting impact not only to the communities we serve, but also to your own journey of growth, learning, and service.
Giving Back: For every trip sold, 4% is directly reinvested into local community projects. Meaning your experience supports even more lasting change beyond your stay.
What to Expect as a Volunteer
No matter your background or level of experience, you are welcome at CCF Uganda. Our volunteers come with open hearts and leave with changed lives.
Roles: Depending on ongoing projects and your length of stay, tasks may include childcare, teaching, mentoring, assisting with farming initiatives, supporting community programs, or contributing to skill-building workshops.
Flexibility: Each day is unique, volunteering with us calls for openness, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
Growth: The longer you stay, the deeper your involvement and the greater your responsibilities.
