Sponsorship Program

Uganda is an East Africa country, comprising of 21 million children, translating to 46%of the total population. Many of these children are trapped in poverty, Early marriages and are not able to access education.

This situation was made worse by Covid-19 pandemic, where some parents lost their business / jobs due to prolonged lockdown and the long closure schools that exposed many children to abuse and exploitation.  

According to UNICEF, around 1 in 10 school children did not return to school in January 2022 after schools were closed for nearly two years. 

Out of the 91% children that enroll for primary school, 53% complete primary and only 34% complete secondary school.

Our sponsorship program supports children from poor and vulnerable backgrounds to enrol, keep in school and complete their education. We provide children with school fees and other school needs as well as supporting children and their families to become economically self reliant. 

We focus on children from pre-school to higher institutions of learning, giving children a life time opportunity to support themselves, their families and the community where they live. 

We can only do this with the support of people like you who commit to contribute monthly, termly or yearly to ensure a child(ren) enrolls, stays in school and completes their education

What makes our program unique is the deep connection we build with each child, spending over 50 hours per week nurturing their development.

Our program not only focuses on the children but also on empowering their families. We provide parents with skill-building opportunities such as sewing, entrepreneurship, and handicraft training, helping them break free from poverty and create a sustainable future for their families.
